Tucked deep within the mountain shade of Rabun County, Georgia, Bad Branch Falls carries a unique history. Once an active stone quarry left with sharp, man-made ledges, time and water have quietly worked their magic. Over decades, the cascade has softened every jagged edge, draping ancient quarry stone in lush moss, cooling mist, and tumbling white water.

This piece captures the peaceful resilience of the natural world—a reminder of how gracefully nature heals, restores, and ultimately takes back her sacred spaces.

This piece is number 16 in my Appalachian Waterfall series.

Edges are painted black. Ready to hang.
