The Dreaming

This painting was inspired by the Aboriginal beliefs about  creation.

The Dreamtime is the period in which life was created. “The Dreaming” explains how things came to be – why a rock is in a certain place, why the moon returns full every month, or how kangaroos got their tails.

The Dreaming is not static or linear. It is the past, the present, the future and is constantly evolving.
